Twitter metrics in PlumX to be discontinued on Scopus

PlumX Metrics are a primary source of article metrics on Scopus, providing insights into the ways people interact with research output in the online environment. By categorizing the metrics into five categories – Usage, Captures, Mentions, Social Media, and Citations – PlumX helps make sense of a large amount of metrics data and enables analysis by comparing metrics that are compatible.

2023 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) now available on Scopus

Scopus has released the 2023 United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the Scopus Document details page.

SDGs are specific research areas that challenge the global community to build a world where no one is left behind. Elsevier data science teams have built extensive keyword queries, supplemented with machine learning, to map documents to SDGs with very high precision.

The most notable update to the 2023 SDG classification is the inclusion of SDG17, "Partnerships for the goals."
