On March 26, 2024, we held a webinar titled “Scopus AI: How Curated, Enriched and Connected Data Enhance Research Insights.” The session discussed how Scopus AI is designed to save researchers and institutions valuable time by creating an instant, intuitive and fully referenced summary of whatever topic you query. As with any generative AI technology, Scopus AI critically depends on the quality of the data on which it is trained. Scopus AI draws from the metadata and abstracts within Scopus, an authoritative, curated and enriched data source. Watch the webinar to delve into the universe of Scopus data and learn how it is uniquely positioned to inform a generative AI solution to support researchers.

Key topics covered include:
  • What content is included in Scopus and how is it selected?
  • How are inclusion, diversity and other bias minimized in Scopus data?
  • How do we ensure Scopus integrity by avoiding predatory and hijacked content?
  • What steps are taken to ensure the quality and accuracy of Scopus content?
  • What specific Scopus content is used to train Scopus AI?

We will hold two sessions to accommodate different time zones. The agenda is the same for each session.
