Interactive map: global disease outbreak experts
This map represents the most active institutions researching disease outbreak and control.
We ran a search in Scopus for publications researching the coronavirus and related diseases such as SARS from 1996 to the present (Feb 6, 2020). We then used the resulting ~22,000 publications to identify the researchers and institutions that are working in these areas. The map shows the 500 most prolific global institutions, along with the 200 most prolific Chinese institutions by publication count.
