Optimizing Scopus research data points for Times Higher Education rankings
Times Higher Education (THE) has provided trusted performance data on universities for students and their families, university academics, university leaders, governments and industry, since 2004. THE World University Rankings rely on Scopus and SciVal to measure research productivity and influence to develop quantitative benchmarks for universities worldwide. These international rankings provide an important yardstick for institutions and play a key role in attracting top students from around the globe.
Join Liz Bober, Library Assessment Officer, for a presentation on how Scopus and SciVal help optimize Case Western University research information and datapoints. Liz will share insights into how she uses the Scopus Institution Profile Wizard to logically organize research output data for individual departments and schools within the institution. Further, she will discuss how her team educates researchers on the importance of maintaining their research output data.
During the webinar, the Elsevier team will also share updated materials on how Scopus data is used as part of the THE ranking methodologies.
