We have kept all the functionalities you loved, such as setting citation alerts, checking a researcher’s citations and h-index and seeing who they’ve collaborated with in the past. Plus, you can readily see which Topics they’ve contributed the most to, to get insight into their field of expertise.
New simplified design is readable, clean and decluttered, by displaying the information in a logical order, ensuring important information is more prominently located. The new design:
- Is easier for researchers to find and get a quick, clear over of their own Author Profile
- Saves you time when looking for other researchers with whom to collaborate locally and internationally
- Helps you stay up to date on the latest research, and provide a more comprehensive view of a researcher’s publication portfolio
About Autor Profiles
Scopus data follows the model that articles are written by researchers who are affiliated with institutions. Powerful algorithmic data processing matches articles to existing profiles with a high degree of accuracy based on name, email, affiliation, subject area, citations and co-authors. Profiles are created automatically when two or more articles are linked to one profile.
Scopus gets daily updates to its content from thousands of publishers which it uses to generate new author profiles and update existing author profiles.
