What can I expect after submitting a Scopus Missing Content or Data Correction request?
When an author, or their proxy submits a correction request to the Scopus Content Service Desk, it can feel a little like a black box. We’ve clarified the process and timelines around the three biggest types of correction requests:
- missing documents
- inaccurate author profile details
- missing content within documents.
When a request is submitted, it is sent to the appropriate Elsevier expert for review. The complexity and size of the request may both affect the time for the correction to appear in the Scopus.com interface. Learn more about requesting changes to Scopus and access the full document on our Scopus Support Hub.
