Introducing Copilot, a new feature for Scopus AI to handle specific and complex queries

Since the launch of Scopus AI last year, we’ve learned that it delivers great results when exploring a specific research area but can struggle to handle queries that are a bit too specific – for example, those that ask about a certain gene or rare medical condition. Some topics are so niche there may be only a handful of papers that describe them.

This is the  latest article in a series on the Scopus blog, featuring the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB). The CSAB is an international and editorially independent group of scientists, researchers and librarians who represent the major scientific disciplines. Changes to Scopus Open Access (OA) document tagging

In December 2020, Scopus introduced Open Access (OA) filters, providing greater clarity on the type of OA options for a given search results list. With this feature Scopus users could see OA Gold, Hybrid-Gold, Bronze or Green status per document. The Scopus advanced search page was also updated to allow users to build custom queries to include these OA statuses.
