We are excited to announce the redesigned Scopus Author Feedback Wizard, enabling users to easily review their Scopus Author Profile and submit corrections.

Your Scopus Author Profile (automatically created by Scopus) showcases various indicators including number of citations, publication history and h-index. These metrics may be used for tenure, funding and for other research performance based decisions; therefore, it is important to ensure your profile reflects your information correctly.

What’s new on Scopus: Article Level Open Access Indicator now at the article level and other exciting changes

The Article Level Open Access (OA) indicator is now available in Scopus.

Scopus has partnered with CrossRef to retrieve Open Access information for ~2M records in Scopus. This currently includes “Gold” OA, either in OA journals or hybrid journals

Users can now view open access articles which was previously only indicated at the journal level:

New Document Download Manager feature on Scopus – Seamlessly download full-text PDFs

We recently launched a new Document Download Manager feature compatible with Google Chrome, the browser of choice for the majority of Scopus users. The Document Download Manager allows you to select one or more abstract and then automatically download the PDF full-text version(s), from publisher web sites.

Accessing the Document Download Manager is simple

If you are a Chrome user and try to use the current Document Download Manager, you will get a pop-up message alerting you to a new and free

Scopus alerting system updating on October 2nd

Today, on October 2nd, Scopus alerts are migrating to a new system. During this time the “edit” and “create” functions will be deactivated for less than 24 hours. You will still continue to receive alert emails, but will not be able to create new alerts or modify existing alerts for that window of time. A message box will appear on the alerts page to notify users of the brief downtime.

What does this mean for alert recipients after the migration?
