Scopus alerting system updating on October 2nd

Today, on October 2nd, Scopus alerts are migrating to a new system. During this time the “edit” and “create” functions will be deactivated for less than 24 hours. You will still continue to receive alert emails, but will not be able to create new alerts or modify existing alerts for that window of time. A message box will appear on the alerts page to notify users of the brief downtime.

Scopus makes strides in data linking

The ability to access and review the data behind research is a well sought after, but often elusive, resource. In recognition of this, Scopus has been working to incorporate new tools that can make it easier to search and share data. As part of a new initiative introduced earlier this year, Scopus has established two key partnerships: Scholix and DataSearch.
