Upgrades to Scopus: Export Limits Increased to 20,000

The Scopus export limits have increased from 2,000 to 20,000 records.  Users can now download (up to) 20,000 records at a time.  Once the selection has been made, an email with a link to download the CSV data set will be sent to the user with the following fields provided:

  • Author(s)
  • Document title
  • Year
  • Source title
  • Volume, issue, pages
  • Citation count
  • Source and document type

At Scopus, we are very excited to continue our work with ORCID.  It is now easier for researchers to freely import their research papers to ORCID through a direct link on the author detail page, shown as follows:

Upgrades to Scopus: Japanese Interface Launched

Upgrades to Scopus this weekend:

  1. The Search Results Page interface is now less cluttered and overall usability is improved. You will now see the following features in a single bar:
  • Download PDF
  • Export
  • View citation overview
  • View cited by

The additional features of <View references>, <Add to My List>, <Create bibliography>, <Email>, and <Print> are all still available but via a drop-down <More…> menu. The result of this re-design delivers a cleaner, less cluttered Search Results Page. See for yourself:

  1. At Scopus, we are extremely excited to launch our first non-English language interface! If your browser is configured for Japanese, no matter where you are in the world, you can now see Scopus navigation pages and help files in Japanese. You also have the option to select Japanese from the Scopus page footer. Other languages will be added in the future, so stay tuned for more information.
